each "layer"/reflection of the mirror casts a dot by the laser which can be used as type of pixel (RGB depending on laser LED). the mirror(s) can also be tilted in 3 directions and the laser pointer can scan the field in 3D or from a fixed location (like a traditional cathode ray tube found in TVs) thus moving the field of dots and creating the illusion of (picture) movement.
tldr: you can use an infinity mirror and a laser beam to create an ez hologram.
