Homefront is set in 2027. Against the background of a global economic meltdown North Korea has been expanding its military might, culminating in a sneak attack on of the United States. You take on the role of a resistance fighter during the Korean occupation, using terrorist tactics to take on a better equipped opponent.

Certainly the scenario is a little different to typical shooters, but the story is a little short. There is multiplayer (I haven't tried it) to pad things out, but this is only worth picking up in a sale.
