Ok, so I have sufficiently proven to myself that you lose nothing for changing Grand Companies but I made one more video in the interest of being complete. And also to discuss gaining and spending Company Seals

It became abundantly clear making this series of videos that I take for granted many of the things I have access too at higher GC ranks. Changing to a new company you have no usable seals, no access to your Adventurer Squadron, Expert Delivery, and the better company leves. So when switching to a company for the first time make getting to captain the first order of business, and try not to leave a company without a good supply of seals.

A lot of people feel that once they have everything they personally want from a company the seals are useless, but that’s not true. You need seals to run squadron missions. Regular mission bring back useful items and command mission can be useful for leveling. Seals are most useful to crafters but anyone can use their seals to make gil. The most obvious is to buy ventures, for you retainers. If you aren’t regularly sending out you retainers you are missing out on some good cashflow. That said it’s really easy to stock up on ventures.

Many crafting materials actually have a decent vend value, so they might be good for some quick cash. But there are many things you can buy and then list on the market board if you are really into that.

What’s next on the agenda? I kind of want to max out my PvP ranks in all three companies. I’m working on a few videos related to GCs including one on the gear available from each one. I’m not going to be buying and modeling everything, or anything. Just shots using the fitting room. The purpose will be to compare the companies and show the progression from common to unique.
