8Trying to simulate a 32 team franchise into the future to see how players develop [progression/regression] and the quality of rookies in the game. Instead, we see just how terrible the AI is at managing a team and the salary cap. Going into year three, I am constantly stopped and asked to turn off the salary cap because injuries have depleted a team and they can't afford to sign a backup.
Let us hope later editions of Madden had improved roster & salary cap management.
