The "Centaur" enemies of the Fallout series have always been really creepy to me. They are Humans (and possibly a combination of other animals) that were exposed to something called the "Forced Evolutionary Virus". This caused them to undergo extreme and grotesque mutations. The concept art for Centaurs in Fallout 3 is genuinely horrifying, with some really interesting and gruesome examples of Body Horror!

At the end of this video is also an unused design for Centaurs in Fallout 4. I think their redesign looked pretty interesting, and wish we could have seen them realized in game!
