Houdini 16 Masterclass | FLIP Fluids
We have added some exciting new features to the Flip Fluid simulation tools in Houdini 16. We now provide better control of the simulation through the waterline, boundary layer and variable slip viscosity features. It is now easier to create new and interesting fluid behaviour with our surface tension and suction fluid effects. This masterclass will show how to reduce reflecting waves with the waterline and boundary layer tools, and additionally, how the boundary layer can be extended to river upressing. We will demonstrate new effects like creating a crown splash and directable fluid to fill a character and how sliding viscous fluid can create more believable behaviour.
