Former CES Cru member Godemis, having his departure from the Strange Music label confirmed by Tech N9ne via Instagram in response to a fan on January 20, 2021, recently came under fire for taking large commissions to do verses for smaller independent artists, and then failing to deliver on them. Stories about his conduct have floated around for the past year. In 2019/20, Buffalo, NY emcee Twistello had Godemis on several of his shows, and made this track to address some issues with him.
