This Chivalry 2 closed beta gameplay preview features my match with the Sledge Hammer. The Sledge Hammer is available with the Footman's Field Engineer class, and it also comes with a bear trap, and wall kit. The Sledgehammer in Chivalry 2 wasn't my favorite weapon to use in the beta, but it certainly is a viable option, and I see it being a great weapon to wield in narrow corridors to quickly dispatch enemies.

If you're wondering how to get into the Chivalry 2 beta, you'll only be able to play it through Monday (4/26) evening; you can pre-purchase the game on the Epic Games Store to get immediate access.

So far, I'm loving the atmosphere of Chivalry 2 and the level designs, but not much else looks or feels all that great to me. It's still in Beta though so hopefully that will change!
