PART 2 IS UP. 15 Minute Cities are a buzzword at the moment. This video is an assignment that I did where I had to use creative urban design, visual storytelling and theory to explore an issue facing our urban landscape. So being the oddball amongst my peers, I chose use Cities Skylines as my background.

After some research and learning that a 15 minute city's dimension in real life, are not as easily transposed onto a Cities Skylines map - I came to realise that a fully functioning city was going to be a nightmare challenge. Because the dimension given by Deloitte of 12 blocks as the measurements for a true 15 minute city, would not be much space in Cities Skylines.

So I set to the task and completed the 15 minute video assignment (this video is part 1 of 3). Still awaiting the mark by the way - but I believe I followed the rubric correctly.

I have tried to give my citizens everything that I would want within a city THAT I CANNOT LEAVE - but there had to be some serious compromises and I didn't just want to make some giant high-rise sustainable hipster commune.
