The first Dead Rising has always been interesting to me. Researching and diving deep into what made this resonate with gamers worldwide was a lot of fun. This video is rather hyper-focused on the "tone" because I think it's the first thing that pops out whenever I look back on this game. The Japanese studio behind this packed so much detail and player choice into this game that Is missing from its sequels. Capcom had a culture-mixing formula that was interesting and unique and it's a shame it wasn't continued.
