This left many fans confused and upset, who rightly wondered why vision didn't simply zap the titan in half during Infinity war. However, an explanation has been given by the director of the episode. He claimed that there are infinite versions of the Ultron vs Thanos confrontation and in many of them, ThanoS Would have won. Perhaps this version of Thanos was more arrogant and unprepared for a confrontation with another infinity stone wielder and this is what led to this Thanos
