This video is why I am deathly afraid to touch a Touhou video game.

Alright, so this is Gundemonium Recollection. It's a side-scrolling shmup on Steam that a generous person got me when it was on sale during the holidays. I was fiddling around with it last night, and I beat it. On the easiest setting. If you are about to judge me for this, just LOOK AT THIS. This is a replay of the final boss of the game.

This shit's set so that every time I get hit I counter with a bomb. So every time things go flashy boom, I took a hit. This will occur a lot because this boss shoots quite a lot of things at you! Though this is probably tame compared to Touhou. Correct me if I'm wrong. It also doesn't help that this lady may have set a new record for most forms of a final boss in a video game I've ever played. I owe the last boss of Dragon Quest IV an apology.

Nevertheless, I pulled through. Some of these hits.. a lot of them, actually, are indeed my own damn fault. Others.. well, still my own damn fault but I have no idea how the hell you're supposed to AVOID some of those spreads.

I don't know why I'm uploading this since it's hardly a show of competence on my part, but I beat the game. It didn't tell me to stop being a baby and play on Normal. I got an ending of sorts, and I'm happy with that. This is a pretty fun game, just not one I'm very good at.
