(pick & roll tips 2K20)
We discuss how to run the pick-and-roll offense in great detail. Starting out with the mechanics for running a basic pick. Next, we expand on that and look at a number of different options available for pick and roll. Then we discuss the pros and cons for each option depending on personnel on the floor. Knowing what defenders are on the floor as well as what personality you have is key to being able to execute this type of offense. It also provides additional types of scoring options should your offense stagnate late in the game. Being able to successfully score from multiple angles will greatly improve your chances of winning in 2K 20.
(pick fade)
Pick fade is also one of the options we discuss in great detail in this tutorial. This can be a very effective counter move if your pick-and-roll is not working well. Again it comes down to knowing your personnel and what they're good at versus your opponent's personnel and tendencies.

We also discuss how to drive to the basket using pics and look at the pros and cons of different situations based on how the defense is set up.
(set screens)
We also discuss how to set screens as well as look at options such as shooting jump shots, 3-point shots, rolling to the basket or rolling out behind the 3-point line. Running the fade can be an effective way to get open 3-point shots. The question is when to choose each option and we take a look at examples of what is the best move in each situation.
