My Xbox Series S console amazes me sometimes, the fact that you can get a piece of gaming tech so cheap (compared to gaming PC's, PS5's and Xbox X's) that can run the latest games, such as Stalker 2 Heart of Chernobyl.

In this gameplay example video we take a leisurely stroll thru the "Lesser Zone", to show how well Stalker 2 Performs graphically on the Xbox Series S so you can see what it looks like.

The footage was captured at 1080p 60fps on my gaming PC via a capture card. You should watch the footage at full-screen max quality to get the truest idea of how the game runs, but be aware that my capture software, and YouTube, apply compression settings that degrade the video quality.

Stalker 2 looks great, especially in the daytime as you can see in this example captured gameplay. It's running at around 30fps, so could probably do with a little motion blur to soften the experience when you turn, but I'm willing to accept those compromises to play this amazing game on my budget baby Xbox.

These are, of course, early days for Stalker 2, and I'm sure we'll see optimization and performance improvement patches over the next months, making the game smoother and run even better.
