How I vote on Steam Greenlight
11Hey everyone! Want to see how I vote on Steam Greenlight? Well, the most important thing, my one and only criteria for voting a game YES is if I'd really buy that game or not.
Please, let me explain! Don't misunderstand me, the game might be good, it might even be amazing, but it will not have my vote for that alone. I won't upvote a game because the community likes it, I will never upvote a game because "it deserves" to be on Steam, I will not vote a game because someone might buy a game, or because I might hurt the feelings of the developer.
So what is the purpose of this video? it's a response to all those who mostly vote games on Greenlight just because "it looks good" but never intend on buying that game. I'm not generalizing, but maybe there's a reason Steam is full of games no one wants.
However, this video is not intended to alter your opinion or demean the games and their respective creators. It is only for informal purposes. If anything, I am helping them get noticed. Also, I have not chosen these games particularly, if you know Greenlight, you know how that works.
