How is the sharing of power between the Union and the State Governments basic to the structure of the Constitution of India? Explain.
Both the Union and the State Government obtain their power from the constitution and it is not easy to make any changes to the power sharing arrangement between the union and state government. Parliament can not change this arrangement on it's own, for any change requires the approval of more than half of the state legislature.
