How NOT To Make A Tetris Game, Part 2: Super Tetris for Sega Master System
The Sega Master System has no officially released Tetris game, this is one of the two bootleg Tetris games released in South Korea. In order for a Tetris game to be official, the Tetris Company must certify that it is an official Tetris game. While it is somewhat better than the Famicom's Tetris, this game has enough problems as is. The background is ugly, the controls are wishy washy, the level speed has no idea what it wants to do. As for the music, it sounds like it wants to try but gives up halfway, like a fat man giving up after a few minutes on the treadmill, speaking from experience. The Tetrominos are preset, no random order and it loves giving you L & Z pieces as if you don't already have enough of them!
I have to give it credit for being the only "Tetris" game to have a "Screen Clean" feature.
I have not seen a copy of the game, so I emulated it using my Analogue Mega SG. Also, I do not recommend playing this game.
