As disclosure, Square Enix did provide me a free digital copy of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth upon release day. It was a great excuse to talk about how Remake and Rebirth have made me into an FF VII fan and get over my preconceived notions, but it's a conclusion I had already come to after buying Remake on its release. Nevertheless, I wanted to talk about finally "getting" FF VII.
