I suddenly had the strong urge to talk about the skill card mechanic in the Persona series. Skill cards allow you to impart skills onto personas without needing to level them or pass on the skill from one of its fusion components. Persona skill cards also ignore any restrictions on what skills a persona can or cannot inherit. Skill cards have actually been present throughout most of the Persona series, including some spinoffs such as Persona Q, Persona Q2, and Persona 5 Strikers. From as early as Persona 1 and Persona 2, then making a return in Persona 3 Portable, then expanding on them in Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal. This video will also go into examples on similar ideas in other games such as Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance, Digital Devil Saga 1, and Digital Devil Saga 2.
