Hello, lovely subscribers! I'm continuing to experiment with Topaz Labs' new Starlight Sharp model - a recent extension/offshoot of their impressive Starlight generative model family. This model excels at something that's previously been a severe issue - handling background faces and small faces. I personally think these are the best results I've ever been able to achieve.
Sadly, however, Starlight models remain untenable for my general workflow due to the time invesement required to process footage. But still, it can give us hope for the future. Hopefully Paramount are paying attention to this technology and might give DS9 and Voyager the kind of attention I am in my spare time...
