How the Wolf Pin Opens up Neo: TWEWY's Combo Potential | Exploring Swift Strike as a movement option
I had explored the idea of using the wolf pin as a movement tool slightly in my "Neo: TWEWY's Combat is Pretty Kweeeel" video (check it out if you haven't), but this time around I take it to another level by using the wolf's movement to do a lot of position switching, thus opening up new branching pathways my combos could go and making them more dynamic. I mainly use this to influence the behavior of my pin attacks (0:04 and 0:15- peep how the conyXcony patrol rounds curve into the noise when I swift strike behind it, causing more hits), reverse my position relative to the noise so that I'm able to knock them back and forth across the arena with a bit more flair, and to instantly evade attacks. I'm wondering just how far this can be pushed. Maybe somebody in the community will adopt this tech (if they haven't been using this strat already) and invent even doper combos than I could. I mean, by using the wolf pin during combos, I'm basically unlocked Neo's action-game equivalent of REVERSALS!!!. I wonder if pairing this strat with drift tackle will make combos even zanier; I might test that later and I hope yall will try to do the same if the tech interests you
