** WHY NOT ENCRYPT OS ON VM? **
because it's easier and safer to make encrypted container and store VM's drive inside that! this way if something goes wrong with VM's windows installation, you don't have to decrypt it, you can directly use rescue tools and fix it or access VM drive directly and copy data off it, if you encrypt OS inside VM, then you have no access to it if something happens to that OS. that's why i'm not suggesting it on video, if you going for full system or patition encryption, then do it on your real PC/laptop, so if something goes wrong, you can use TC rescue disk or take drive out, put into other PC and mount it via truecrypt, so you still have access to your data.

** Tails OS **
This is live linux OS focused on privacy, it runs directly from USB drive and by default it does not save any data at all, so i didn't mention it as obviously you want to save your darknet programs and data, there's no need for it if you use encryption like i explained.
** Whonix OS **
this is another privacy focused OS, it runs as 2 virtual machines and uses tor for internet access, but again it's not necessary if you're using encryption and anonymous VPN.

deep web, dark web, dark net, deepweb, darkweb, darknet, they're all the same thing! while in other hand, onion markets and onion websites are specific type of darknet, know the terms!
for example I2P and P2P are part of darknet, but they have nothing to do with onion websites.
