The update to ios 8 has left alot of people confused. To access widgets in the notification center on ios 8 you first need to pull down on the top screen, then go into the edit option at the bottom. There will be some stock options you can use such as the calendar and reminder. However if you have certain apps downloaded onto your iphone or ipad you will be able to add them. For example I have evernote, drop box, and yahoo weather. Just click add and then reload you notification bar at the top and these widgets will appear in the notification center. Yahoo weather is definitely one of the nicer looking widgets , and one we recommend getting. Hopefully that helps you guys out with adding widgets in ios 8.
