Do you want to know how to add cross platform friends in Minecraft? Using the bedrock edition on the PS4, Xbox One, PC, Switch, Mobile you can sign in with a microsoft account. Now when you enter a world, you can go to the options menu. Invite a friend to a game, you can add a cross platform friend by going to the bottom of the screen. On the ps4 you can press triangle. This will allow you to search for a friend. Enter the name and go to add friends. Wait for them to accept the friend request and they will appear under your friends list.
