How To Add Hanging Indents In Google Docs Using Indentation Option Method:
Highlight the text in your Google Doc where you want to apply the hanging indent.
Click ''Format'' in the top menu bar.
Select "Align & indent" from the dropdown menu.
Click ''Indentation Options''.
Under "Special indent", click the dropdown arrow and choose "Hanging".
Set the desired indent distance (how far the text should hang).
Click "Apply" to confirm the changes.
How To Add Hanging Indents In Google Docs Using Ruler Method:
Click "View" in the top menu bar.
Select "Show ruler" to display the ruler at the top of the document.
Highlight the text where you want to add a hanging indent.
On the ruler, locate the blue arrow slider (left side).
Highlight your text in Google doc you want to add hanging indents.
On the ruler, locate the blue arrow slider (left side).
Drag the arrow to the right to set the hanging indent distance.
Drag the upper arrow back to the left margin to align the first line.
Release the slider. This will create a hanging indent.
