Description

*************** ************** Play in 1080p Resolution *************** **********************

- Create a Shortcut to The Halo.exe in your installation Directory ( mine is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" )
- Right Click and navigate to the Properties Dropdown Selection
- Go to the "Shortcut" tab
- Go to the "Target:" Field
- and add this to the end of it -vidmode 1920,1080,60
- Mine looks like this "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -vidmode 1920,1080,60
- This can be changed around for any resolution, and if you are wondering the last number is the refresh rate of my moniter yours is probably 60 aswell
- If your monitor only does 1280x720 or any other resolution just change the line around a bit Eg, -vidmode 1920,1080,60 to -vidmode 1280,720,60

- Go to : https://www.widescreenfixer.org/ and click on the blue font under the "Donate" button that is titled Widescreen Fixer
- You'r going to need winrar or 7zip or what ever your archiving program of choice might be ( winrar is preferred (unless your an idiot named alex )
- Go ahead and extract the Folder called "Widescreen Fixer" to any place it really doesn't matter were as long as you keep the files together
- open the folder and run the Widescreen Fixer.exe ( the one that looks like a t.v )
- Now go ahead and select your game from the dropdown box on the "Main" tab ( Use halo if your playing halo)
- Go into the settings tab and create a hotkey
- To create a hotkey select which buttons you want to be clicked to enable widescreen mode ( I use Shift + Divide )
- Make sure "Widescreen Fixer" is running when you start the game and once your in game ( not the menus ) activate your hotkey by pressing the selected buttons you specified in the settings tab
