17Season 2: Approaching the New Season
[WHERE TO DROP FOR ACTION]
Learning where to drop in Season 2 can be daunting due to all of the New Points of Interest.
In order to get a healthy amount of Engagements, i'd Suggest doing P.O.I Rotations of which ever
Points of Interest were in your Line of Drop Zones.
[LOOTING PROPERLY]
In Season 2, we were presented with a New way of Collecting Data. Our Old Data Nodes, are now considered "Projector Nodes". There are 3 Projector Node Phases:
+ Weaponary Phase | + Supply Phase | + Legendary Phase
I HIGHLY Encourage everyone to get used to where these Nodes Spawn during each Phase, that way you can loot them each game you play.
The Weaponary Phase Grants you Purple Rarirty Weapons or Higher.
The Supply Phase Grants you Food &/or Medical Items
The Legendary Phase Guarantees you a Flame Thrower with Fuel + A Piece of Legendary Armor. It has a CHANCE to spawn Silver Bullets as well.
Looting Regular Crates is fine, but in order to get straight to the good stuff, looting Nodes & of course the Supply Drops, is the way to go.
[GUN FIGHTS]
The Meta to Season 1 Evolved around Kar/AK.
THIS Season brings A LOT more Diversity to the Table with Shotguns being a lot more consistent, AKs being toned down, & G3s being more Powerfull than ever.
Last Season, Weapon Rarities determined your Weapon Performance Mostly, with some Damage Tweaks. THIS Season HEAVILY implies the Damage Difference in between
Rarities, it's ridiculous.
In Result, I'd heavily suggest testing around with Every Weapon because This Season, you will get to PROPERLY play your chosen role, a lot more to heart, than ever before.
[BEASTS]
Season 2 is The Season to where Beasts get to have the Most Fun. The reason behind this, would be due to the new expansive open fields this New Map brings us.
Humans will have a lot harder time Surviving agaist the Assault of Beasts with the lack of our favorite 1 door Cabins. Now, on the contuary, Humans have the potential
to do A LOT more Damage to Beasts this time around. Silver Bullets & Gold Weapons got a MAJOR Buff in Damage Output this Season. So Beast Players?
