How to Beat Dracula Quick – Castlevania Symphony of the Night (SOTN)

What is up YouTube, AlienHorizon02 here playing some Castlevania symphony of the night and what we will be demonstrating in this video is the final boss fight with Dracula playing as Alucard. So, what I am using for my items and weapons in this fight is primarily focused on the Crissagram, Alucard shield, shield rod, and the Cross special weapon. The other items (like the dragon helmet, walk armor, Joseph’s cloak, ring of varda, and the nauglamir) help increase the stats but are not as significant as the pure chaos of this weapon set up. A double ring of varda and a higher level for Alucard would cut some time off of the boss run because obviously the attack would be higher. Other set ups could also be used to increase attack.

Basically for the shield rod and Alucard shield, you use the shield combo attack by pressing both the left and right hand attacks at the same time (for those of you who didn’t know), then you are able to switch the shield rod out (while the effect of the Alucard and shield rod attack is still working) to another weapon. By holding the shield you are able to attack enemies and receive both health and hearts from your damage done. It is a really powerful and easy way to fight bosses and navigate through the game.

I prefer switching out to the Crissagram because of its high attack and excellent speed for this combination. By holding the shield button down and spamming the Crissagram while also simultaneously using the cross special weapon, you unleash an ungodly force that almost always defeats Dracula before the cross animation is complete if done right. Additionally, you do not need to worry about taking damage from his arm attacks (so you can just jump right at him) because of the shield effect. We hope you guys enjoyed this video!
