Google is pushing YouTube Gaming to be the number one spot for gaming related videos and live streams and it’s putting out new features to further its push to take over the live streaming market from twitch. YouTube is expanding its support for mobile gamers via a new update to "YT Gaming" application. The update add the ability to use a feature call “Mobile Capture” to well.. capture and live stream YouTube mobile devices to YouTube. This has enable gamers that enjoy Fallout Shelter, Clash of Clans, Angry Birds to broadcast gameplay with commentary without needing any extra hardware.
On top of this YouTube has put into beta a "sponsorship" program to "Making it easy to back your favorite gamers" this will allow user to support streamer they enjoy monthly with a paid subscriptions similar to twitch $4.99 subscribe feature. I personally think many these improvements have been greatly needed to help push YouTube gaming forwards. The big question is is this enough to get you switch from Twitch to YouTube Streaming?
