Blocking someone on TikTok is a simple process that helps you maintain privacy and avoid unwanted interactions. To block a user, open the TikTok app and navigate to the profile of the person you want to block. This might be a user whose posts you no longer wish to see, or someone you want to prevent from interacting with your content.

Once on their profile, tap the "Share" icon in the top-right corner, represented by an arrow. In the menu that appears, select the "Block" option. TikTok will display a confirmation message explaining that the blocked user will no longer be able to view your profile, send you messages, or see your posts. The block also extends to preventing the user from finding your profile, though it doesn’t affect situations like group chats or duet content they’re tagged in.

After confirming, the user will be blocked. They will not receive a notification about being blocked. If you decide to unblock them in the future, you can do so from your settings under "Blocked Accounts."
