978We go about how you can create a fantasy map of a village using a map making tool called Dungeon Fog, however, you can apply the same techniques and ideas using any map making tool.
We start with the general layout, then add buildings and other features to enhance to village and create a typical village ambiance, but also focusing on buildings that a typical village would have: a blacksmith, an apothecary, a church, a general trader, and maybe a tavern and lots of homes.
