The recommendations below are suggestions
you can still come up with a different configuration.

CPU Options:
intel: i7 8700k 6 cores up to 4.7ghz
https://amzn.to/2NdJmKl

i7 7700k 4 core, the cpu I use
https://amzn.to/2NKmBi6

i3 8100 one of the most affordable cpus!
https://amzn.to/2LcpiaI

These Ryzen cpus are cheaper and faster than intel counter part.
They just dont have as much product for instance less motherboard options overall companies are still warming up to ryzen. The results are in they are great computer parts.

AMD: Ryzen 7 2700X
https://amzn.to/2NerrTJ

AMD: Ryzen 5 2600x
https://amzn.to/2ulHHLH

AMD: Ryzen 3 2200G
https://amzn.to/2L89l8I

Motherboards:

intel: GIGABYTE 8th gen cpu support itx motherboard
https://amzn.to/2Neq5s7

intel: GIGABYTE 7th gen cpu support itx motherboard

AMD: ASUS Prime ryzen

AMD: GIGABYTE ryen

Video Card:

Before buying new components consider getting used computer parts to save money. Only do this if you really need stronger performance but cant afford higher end pricing.

GTX 1060
https://amzn.to/2NOVQcA

GTX 1070
https://amzn.to/2Le61sq

GTX 1080 mini
https://amzn.to/2Jlyh7P

New nvidia Geforce graphics cards are around the corner it might be wise to wait a couple months to see what they are like. If they turn out to be a rebrand like some people think than consider getting last years cards.

Computer Cases:

CORSAIR CARBIDE AIR 240
Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX Case
https://amzn.to/2L8cvcA

CORSAIR OBSIDIAN 250D MINI-ITX CASE
https://amzn.to/2uvk9mR

The smaller computer cases are a lot more fun to work with and easier to manage on a smaller desk. They are also more portable so if you wanna bring your pc to a lan these type of cases and smaller itx motherboard will be very useful. One downside to smaller motherboards is that they are not expandable like a larger motherboard is.

RAM:

Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB
(1 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz
https://amzn.to/2Neu2gi

Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB
(2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3000MHz

Storage:

Primary Drive:
