Capturing a dragon in Craftopia is not a hard task. You need at a minimum of 4 chain restraint bullets but I would recommend taking a lot more depending on your level in relation to the dragon's level. You also need some monster prisms and be able to knock the health of the dragon down considerably without killing it.

Make sure you set the chain restraint bullets around the area you plan on attacking and capturing the dragon.

After you capture a dragon you can tame the dragon at a Pet Management Machine. With a tamed dragon, you can ride the dragon and fly around maps.

This method also works with Griffins but you have to capture Griffins in a Royal Tomb.
