
How to Change Default Search Engine in Microsoft Edge to Google
This video will show you how to change the default search engine for the address bar in the Microsoft Edge browser. This will allow you to change the Microsoft Edge default search engine to Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, or any other search engine.
Here are the steps to change Default Search Engine in Microsoft Edge to Google:
1. Launch your Microsoft Edge browser.
2. Go to your desired search engine. In this video, we navigate to https://google.com.
3. Save the search engine as a favorite by selecting the favorite icon on the toolbar to the right of the address bar.
4. Once you have saved your desired default search engine as a favorite, open the Microsoft Edge settings by first clicking the 3 dots icon in the top right-hand corner of the browser then clicking Settings.
5. In the left sidebar of the settings, click Advanced.
6. Once in Advanced, find and select Change search provider under Address bar search.
7. Once in Change search engine, choose your desired default search engine then choose Set as default.
8. Exit out of Microsoft Edge browser and open the browser again.
