How to Change Input Method in COD Black Ops 6 (Mouse or Controller)
To change the input method (e.g., switching between controller and mouse/keyboard) in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, follow these steps:
For Switching Between Controller and Mouse/Keyboard:
Open the Settings Menu:
From the main menu, navigate to Settings.
Go to the Controller or Input Settings:
Select the Controller tab if you're currently using a controller, or select the Keyboard & Mouse tab if you're using a mouse/keyboard.
Change Input Method:
Depending on the platform, the game should automatically detect your input method when you plug in a new device.
If you’re on PC, plugging in a controller should prompt the game to switch to controller mode, and vice versa.
On console, you will always use the controller, but some games let you customize the controller behavior from the Controller settings tab.
Adjust Keybinds (If Needed):
If you’re switching to a mouse/keyboard setup, you can adjust the keybinds from the Keyboard & Mouse section, or adjust the controller layout in the Controller section to match your preference.
Save Settings:
After making your changes, be sure to save and test the new input method in a match to ensure it’s working as expected.
On Console:
If you're playing on a console (like PS5 or Xbox), the input method is usually fixed to the controller, and you can't switch to mouse/keyboard unless the game supports it.
