1. Go to Your Phone Menu.
2. Find WhatsApp.
3. Tap on the WhatsApp Icon.
4. Make Sure you are on the “Chats” Tab.
5. Tap on “More Options” Which Is a Three-Dot Icon Located at the Top Right Corner of the Page.
6. Go to Settings.
7. Tap on “Account”. This Will Open Your Account Settings Page.
8. Tap on “Privacy”.
9. Tap on “Status”. This Option Will Show Your Current Settings for Status Privacy. Tapping on It Will Give You the Option to Change Your Settings.
10. Select Your Status Audience From the Menu.
11. You Have three Options My Contacts, My Contacts Except..., or Only Share with...
12. Select My Contacts if You Want All of Your Contacts to be Able to View Your Status Updates.
13. Select My Contacts Except... If You Want to Block Some of Your Contacts From Viewing Your Status Updates. Tapping on This Option Will Bring Up a List of Your WhatsApp Contacts, and Let You Select the Ones That You Want to Hide Your Status Updates From.
14. To Confirm the Changes, Tap the Checkmark in the Lower-right Corner of Your Screen.
Now you can share your whatsapp status with your all friends and you can also hide your whatsapp status from specific contacts. In this video I have shown you how to hide your whstapp status from specific contacts
15. Go Back to Status Privacy Page Again.
16. Tap Only Share With... If You Want to Handpick and Select Whom You are going to Share Your Status Updates With. Tapping on This Option Will Bring Up a List of Your Contacts, and You Will Select the Ones That You Want to Share Your Status Updates With.
17. To Confirm the Changes, Tap the Checkmark in the Lower-right Corner of Your Screen.
