Steps:

- Finding what version of Chrome OS you are using and checking for updates on a Chromebook is easy.

- To do it, Start by clicking the white circle icon at the bottom left of the screen and then click the up arrow to expand the app menu.

- In the app menu, open ‘settings’.

In settings, select ‘about chrome OS’ from the bottom of the left sidebar.

- Here on the about page it shows you what version you are running and you can click ‘check for updates’ to see if there are any updates available for your Chromebook.
