How To Get A Caps Lock Key On Chromebook
Easy to follow tutorial on making one of your keys on your Chromebook become a caps lock key. By default there is no dedicated caps lock key on a Chromebook, but with this trick you can change one of the existing keys such as the search key and turn into a dedicated caps lock button.

Steps:
- While chromebooks don’t come with a dedicated caps lock button, it is possible to remap one of the keys, such as the search key and turn it into a caps lock key.
- To do that, click the white circle icon at the bottom left of the screen and then click the up arrow to expand the app menu.
- In the app menu, open ‘settings’.
- In settings, select ‘device’ from the left sidebar, then in device settings, select ‘keyboard’.
- Here you can select the search key, or any of the other keys and change their function to caps lock.
- You now have a dedicated caps lock key on your Chromebook keyboard,
