Steps:
- Open up the Google Chrome app.
- Tap on the three dots button in the top right corner.
- Select ‘history’ from the menu that appears.
- Here is all of your google chrome browsing history, you can delete history items individually by tapping the ‘x’ to the right of the item.
- If you hold down on an item it will be selected, you can then tap on other items to select multiple items to be deleted.
- Then tap the trash icon in the top right, to delete the multiple items.
- You can tap the search bar to search through your history for specific items to delete.
- If you want to delete all of your history then tap on ‘clear browsing data’.
- Then click on ‘last hour’ below time range, and select ‘all time’.
- If you tap clear data from here it will clear the browsing history, the cookies and site data, and the cached images and files.
- But if you tap ‘advanced’ at the top you have more history clearing options.
- From here you can also clear the ‘saved passwords’, ‘auto-fill form data’, and ‘site settings’.
- Make sure to change the time range to ‘all time’ at the top of the page.
- You can see how many items will be cleared from each category.
- I am going to uncheck ‘saved passwords’ as I don’t want to delete my saved passwords.
- Tap on ‘clear data’.
- You will now be given the option to keep the data from some specific websites that you use frequently, if you want to keep the data for any of the sites, then uncheck the box, if you want the data to be cleared for those sites too then just tap clear and leave the boxes checked.
- Your google chrome history will be cleared.
