I made this video because ever since YouTube took down its video editor adding music to the video's has been problematic. Most of the songs provided by YouTube are on the short side. Upload a video past four and a half minutes and the pickings get slim. So without longer songs the next option is simply to use multiple songs but currently there is no way to do that within YouTube itself. Here's what you need to do!
First download the "audacity" program, its free. Click on the link or just search for it. http://www.audacityteam.org
Next you'll probably need to (though you might not) install a program called "Lame." It's necessary for audacity to create the audio files. Audacity should prompt you to download it should you actually need the program but here is the link in case it does not.
now just follow the video and you'll be able to chain together multiple music files into a single one. If you just want to make one song longer simply make multiple copies of the same song, enough for the desired length and load them into audacity.
I am by no means an expert with this program but this is pretty much the basic steps needed. I'll probably make another video showing how to add the music to a video file for uploading to YouTube.
*note I used the songs provide by YouTube because they were copyright free but you could use whatever audio tracks you want.
