Use a USB OTG (On-The-Go) adapter compatible with your Redmi 14C's charging port (usually USB-C).
Connect your external hard disk to the OTG adapter, then plug it into your Redmi 14C.
You may see a popup asking to allow access to the USB device. Tap "Allow".
Go to the File Manager app, then tap on USB storage or OTG storage to browse files.
