The PlayStation 5 DualSense controller is comfortable to hold and sports a good battery life. And if you're looking to take your mobile gaming to the next level, using the PS5 DualSense controller is a great way to do it. The only caveat is that to use your DualSense controller with your PS5 again after pairing it with your Android device, you'll need to re-pair it with the console using a USB C cable.

Now let's walk through the steps to connect your PS5 DualSense controller to your Android phone or tablet.

Step 1. Hold down both the "PS" and "Create" buttons on your PS5 DualSense controller until the light bar around the touch pad starts blinking. The controller is in pairing mode when the light bar starts blinking.

Step 2. Navigate to the Settings screen on your Android phone or tablet. Depending on what device you're using, the onscreen options may be different. In this example I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Tab running Android 10. The Settings screen is displayed.

Step 3. Tap "Connections" in the list of options. The Connections screen is shown.

Step 4. Tap to enable Bluetooth if it isn't turned on already, and then tap "Bluetooth" to display the Bluetooth screen. You'll see a list of devices currently paired with your Android device, and another list of devices detected that are available to pair with your Android device. You should see Wireless Controller in this list, which represents your PS5 DualSense controller. If you don't, your controller may have slipped out of pairing mode. Put the DualSense controller back into pairing mode and it should be displayed.

Step 5. Tap "Wireless Controller." The device will show as pairing briefly, before a Bluetooth Pairing Request is displayed.

Step 6. Tap "OK" to connect your Android phone or tablet with your PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. You'll now see Wireless Controller as connected in the list of paired devices. You can now use your PS5 DualSense controller in supported apps on your Android device.
