Steps:

- There are a couple of ways to copy and paste on MacOS, I’ll show you each way now.

- To start with you need to use your mouse or trackpad to highlight the text you want to copy. To Highlight, hold down on the left click and drag over the area you want to copy.

- Once the text is highlighted it can be copied. If you right click the highlighted text you will see an option to copy the text. If you don't have right click enabled you can also hold down the control key on your keyboard and then click to get to the same menu from which you can then select copy.

- You can also copy highlighted text by clicking on the edit button from the top toolbar and then selecting copy!

- The 3rd way to copy is with a keyboard shortcut and is the fastest method once you remember it. Simply hold down the command key and then tap ‘C’ and your text or whatever is highlighted will be copied to your clipboard.

- To paste your highlighted text , click on a suitable place to paste it.

- and you can then right click the mouse or hold down control and click to bring up that menu from before and now choose Paste!

- You can also paste by clicking the edit button from the top toolbar and then selecting paste.

- The keyboard shortcut to paste is Command & ‘V’ . I recommend learning the keyboard shortcuts because it will save you time.
