How to Create a Clickable Link on Instagram
29In this video, I'm going to show you how to create a clickable link in Instagram. There's two main ways of doing this. You can add a clickable link into your Instagram story, which will lead your viewers to a website of some sort or you can put a clickable link into your Instagram bio.
So I'm going to show you both options now and we're going to start with the Instagram story option. So create a new story and then click on the stickers option. Scroll, until you see the sticker option where it says, link. Here you want to post in the link that you want to direct people to.
So I'm going to put in my youtube channel here. I've already copied the link and I am pasting it in. When you have the link pasted in, click on the done button and then post your story. Now, if I go into my story and click on the link, you will see this will direct my viewers to this website. To add a link into your Instagram bio, tap on your profile icon in the bottom right. And then as you can see here, I have a clickable link which then directs people to my YouTube channel. I've also give a little heading above it just to let people know what they're going to be clicking on. So to do this hit Edit Profile, then in the website option, put in your link that you want to direct people to whether it's another social media platform or whatever it may be. And then underneath where it says bio, give a little introduction to what the link is so that people know what they are clicking on.
