We have a special treat to start out the FTL stream today, Biohazard has graciously offered to help me create a ship myself! And since we're doing it on-stream, we can help other prospective modders learn how to do it, or learn new tricks they've never used! We start in Superluminal, using an image I edited off stream (of the SpaceBalls Winnebago) to create our floor layout, ship setup, death animation, starting systems, etc. After that, we get into some really tricky stuff and create a custom weapon, drone, and artillery! These custom parts are the hardest parts because we have to do some copy/pasting of actual code, but in the end, we have a complete, awesome, custom ship!
