How To Create A Sword Swing Sound - Video Game Sound Design Tutorial
FREE Workshop - How to earn passive income with your sound design: https://www.daviddumaisaudio.com/workshop/
In this video, I show you how to create your own custom sword swing sound effect. All the sounds in this video I recorded using items around my home. Try it for yourself!
There are 2 sounds you'll need:
1. Whoosh
2. Metal scrape
For the whoosh, I swung different objects in front of my microphone (like a skipping rope, exercise band, spatula, jacket, etc.). For the metal scrapes, I used 2 kitchen knifes.
I hope you enjoy!
