Creating an account on the Discover app is a simple process, whether it’s for a credit card, bank, or loan account. Start by opening the Discover app on your mobile device. Once the app launches, you will see the home screen. If you already have an account, you can tap "Login" to sign in. If you don’t have an account, tap "Open Account" to begin.

For those opening a new account, select the product you want to create, such as a credit card, savings account, or other services. If you already have an offline account and want to register it online, tap "Register an Account." Depending on the type of account, follow the relevant steps.

If you’re registering a credit card account, enter your credit card number, expiration date, Social Security Number (SSN), and date of birth. Tap "Continue" to proceed. For bank or loan accounts, enter the last four digits of your account number, your date of birth, SSN or Taxpayer ID, and your mother’s maiden name. Tap "Continue" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration.

Once all required information is submitted and verified, your Discover account will be successfully registered. You can now log in and access all features through the app. If you encounter any issues, Discover’s customer support is available to help.
