This is just a video showing how to make a realistic female Hawke. This face is pretty close to the one (structure wise) that I'm using in my LP.

This is all just my opinion ;)

Because she is a warrior I decided to not pretty her up too much with makeup. If I made a run through with this girl she would be aggressive and mean and rivalmance Fenris :3

Anyway, start out with a face preset that is similar to the image you have in your head for your Hawke. Remember that with Chargen Revamp the first 10 presets will yield default Bethany and Carver.

Take the hair off so that you can see the head clearly. You do not want to shape the head to fit the hair. Instead shape the hair to fit the head. That is how we do it in real life.

Don't make the proportions too tiny. Due to the limits of the generator, even with Chargen Revamp, small features will end up looking warped. Do not make the neck too thin. It looks weird.

Also, do not make your lips too big. You will end up looking like a fish.

Thin lips can make your character look more mature and severe. Here, I'm going for a more romantic youthful yet strong look.

Having too small of a nose is just as distracting as having too large of a nose. Upturned or downturned, your nose needs to be a functional part of your character's face. You don't want to look like your Hawke has had plastic surgery. A big nose can be attractive too. Don't be afraid to let your character have a nose.

Eye height and brow height have to do with youthful appearances. Lowering the eyes and the brows creates a larger forehead which gives her a baby face. If you want a more mature looking Hawke you would make the brows and eyes higher.
Remember to lower or raise the ears with the eyes.

Makeup is to taste. Though consider that your warrior/rogue Hawke is going to be rolling around in mud and covered in blood most of the time and lugging around heavy armor, while your mage Hawke will probably not be covered in blood and probably has a makeup bag with her complete with styling tools.

This warrior is a little more conscious of her looks, what with the eyebrow piercing and obviously groomed eyebrows. She's making up for the scar on her face which Carver gave her when they were younger. She gave him a broken nose in return.
