How to Create Product in Odoo 14 Community
1Every business is related to at least one product. In marketing terms “A product is anything that can be offered to a market that might satisfy a want or need. In retailing, products are called merchandise. In manufacturing, products are bought as raw materials and sold as finished goods.”
Every bit of information about a product is stored in the system for better product management. In Odoo most of the modules including Inventory, Sales, Purchase, POS, Manufacturing, etc. allow to create and configure products.
Inside the product configuration form, the user can specify the details of a product including product image, product name, product type, procurement details, inventory details, sales and purchase information, accounting details. It is also possible to create reordering rules if the product is storable, bill of materials if the product is saleable, manufacturing order if the product is purchasable, and related sales order and purchase orders, etc...
