How to deactivate facebook account? | Facebook Tutorial
Here are the steps to deactivate your Facebook account:
Log in to your Facebook account on a web browser.
Click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the screen.
Select "Settings & Privacy" from the dropdown menu, then click "Settings".
On the left-hand menu, click "Your Facebook Information".
Click "Deactivation and Deletion".
Choose "Deactivate Account" and click "Continue to Account Deactivation".
Follow the prompts to select a reason for deactivating your account and confirm your decision.
Enter your password and click "Continue".
Finally, click "Deactivate Now" to confirm the deactivation of your account.
Once you deactivate your account, your profile and posts will no longer be visible on Facebook. However, some information, such as messages you've sent to other users, may still be visible to them.
If you decide to reactivate your account in the future, you can do so by logging in with your email address and password.
